you” convenience of our pocket size.
Cover options
Diary covers can be printed or material.
Printed covers
Your design, printed with a matt, gloss or soft touch laminate. A great canvas to work with and helps your diary really stand out.
The printed cover option tends to be a more economical solution as well.
Printed covers can be padded to give the cover a softer, cushioned feel.
Depending on the design solution, a printed cover also supports the addition of a foil in silver, gold or black.

Material covers
We have a range of materials, colours and textures that can be used.
An option is to include two different materials on a cover. This is useful if you’re looking for a two tone cover or to manage the price by mixing a more economical material with a more expensive one.
We offer several shape options for the combination – moon, S, straight or ribbon.

What’s inside the diary
Everyday use.
The A4, Management, and A5 page-a-day diaries are popular choices for everyday use. The 352 page-a-day format is designed for on-the-go convenience, with space to manage appointments and daily travel, including log book entries which is particularly useful for claiming travel expenses.

Our blocks are thread sewn for strength and structure.
The block detail
The diary “block” is the main part of the book – the pages. We offer two block variations – “page a day” and “week to view”
PAGE A DAY
Page detail is printed in blue and grey on 70gsm uncoated white paper.
Diaries have a detailed section at the front, which is full of useful reference material from forward planners, 3 year calendars, academic & school holidays, to conversion tables and a map of southern Africa.
Each diary page also has a travel logbook for keeping track of business travel.
We also have a simpler student diary block, printed in a warm grey, with positive quotes at the foot of each page.
The front section is much simpler, limited to school & public holidays, emergency contact numbers and a 3 year calendars.
WEEK TO VIEW
We also offer a “week to view” format for our A5 diary block. These are printed in an eye-pleasing warm grey.
This block is also available as a special order in our A4 diaries.
This block also includes the detailed section at the front, with useful reference material such as forward planners, 3 year calendars, academic and school holidays.
Our pocket size diaries also use the “week to view” format and are printed in the same warm grey. True to its purpose, the block for the pocket diary is kept simpler.
It does have a pared-down version of the handy reference pages upfront with school & public holidays, emergency contact numbers, a conversion table, and a year planner.
Customise the inside of your diary
We offer a number of ways to make your diary custom on the outside, but it’s also possible to carry that through on the inside. From printed end sheets and inserts, to a completely custom book block, we offer a number of ways to let your diary work hard for you, while its working hard for your customers.
Adding inserts to your diary
Our inserts are part of the book structure, not added in to a ready made block.
This gives them excellent lay flat and they really are a part of your book. Our book blocks are made up of eleven 32 page “sections” which are thread sewn into the cover. Printed inserts must be added in multiples of 4 pages and can be added as a section of their own, or wrapped around a 32 page diary section. They can be positioned between or around any or all of the sections in your book.
If wrapped around a section of the diary block, there will be 2 insert pages before, and 2 pages after the diary block section.
Depending on the number of insert pages you decide on, you can have your pages appearing throughout the diary.
Inserts can be printed on uncoated paper (which matches the pages of the diary), or on coated paper which is glossier and has a different feel to the pages of the diary.
Custom end sheets
End sheets are the page that helps keep the join between the cover and the book bock tidy. Our standard end sheets are either black or white on uncoated paper which matches the feel of the diary pages. As an option we can print a custom end page for you (it must be on uncoated paper) in 1, 2 or full colour. This option does make a strong impression as you open the diary, and becomes more cost effective as quantities exceed 350.
Add a pocket at the back of your diary.
A pocket is made out of uncoated paper and is glued onto the inside back cover of your diary. The pocket can be printed at an extra cost, but onlye really becomes economical over 350 to 400 diaries.
